Private by design

Your meetings stay on your Mac.

Recording, transcription, notes, search and questions about a meeting run on your Mac, on models built for Apple Silicon. There is no account to create and nothing to upload.

Processed on this Mac · Nothing sent
  • On-device AISpeech recognition and the language model run locally with Apple’s MLX. Your meetings work offline.
  • A licence check, nothing moreAt most once a day the app sends its licence key, a fingerprint of the Mac (a hash, not the hardware ID), the computer name and the app version. It keeps working offline for up to 14 days.
  • Cloud only if you choose itPrefer cloud transcription? Connect your own ElevenLabs key. It is off by default, and notes and tasks stay local either way.

How it works

From call to brief, without lifting a finger.

01

Join your call

Pure Brief AI notices when Teams, Zoom or another app you choose starts using the microphone, and records — or press Record yourself. Your calendar shows what is next.

  • Microsoft 365, Google and Apple calendars
  • Separate tracks for you and the other side
  • Echo of the speakers removed from your microphone
02

It listens in your languages

Ten languages are recognised, even when people switch between them during the call. The voices on the call are told apart, so every line says who said it.

  • Language detected window by window
  • Only the languages you switch on are considered
  • Speakers separated within the meeting
03

You get the brief

A summary in the format the meeting needs, the decisions that were actually made, and the tasks — each with the exact quote behind it. Send tasks to Apple Reminders or ask the meeting a question.

  • Eight formats, from Minutes to One-on-One
  • Tasks and decisions backed by quotes
  • Markdown export

Grounded, not invented

Every task comes with the words behind it.

AI notes are only useful if you can trust them. A task or a decision appears in the brief only when the transcript contains the words that support it — and the quote is right there, one click from the moment it was said.

  • Owners and deadlines are never made up
  • A plan or a suggestion is not reported as a decision
  • Jump from any quote to that moment in the recording

Everything a meeting leaves behind

Built for people who meet all day.

Eight formats

Auto, Outline, Meeting Minutes, Project Sync, Weekly Team Meeting, One-on-One, Client Status Update and Training — switch any time, your edited tasks stay put.

Voices told apart

Every line says who said it: you, or a voice on the other side. Name a voice once and the name follows every line.

Tasks to Reminders

Send a task to Apple Reminders with its quote and a link back to the meeting. No duplicates.

Ask your meeting

“What did we agree about the budget?” Answers come from the transcript, on your Mac.

Playback in sync

Listen back at any speed; the line being spoken is highlighted as it plays.

Calendar-aware

See upcoming meetings and join Teams from the app. The event’s subject helps recognise the names and terms of your call.

Ten languages

Ukrainian, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Dutch and Russian — several in one meeting, each kept as it was spoken. Switch off the ones you never use.

Clean sound on calls

PureBrief Microphone removes background noise for Teams, Zoom and others in real time — with or without recording.

Questions, answered

Does my audio leave my Mac?

Not in the default on-device mode: recording, transcription, notes and search all run locally. Audio is sent out only if you switch transcription to ElevenLabs with your own key. The licence check sends no meeting data.

Which apps can it record?

Any app that plays the call through your Mac — Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meet in a browser, Webex, Slack, FaceTime, Telegram, WhatsApp and more. Automatic recording watches the apps you select.

Which languages does it understand?

Ten: Ukrainian, English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Polish, Dutch and Russian, including meetings where people switch between them. In Settings you choose which of them automatic detection considers. The interface is available in Ukrainian, English and Russian.

Which Macs are supported?

Macs with Apple Silicon on macOS 15 or later. 8 GB of memory runs the compact model; 16 GB is recommended for everyday meetings, 24 GB for the most detailed notes.

Does it need the internet?

Once, to download the models. After that, only for the licence check (at most once a day; it works offline for up to 14 days) and for your calendar if you connect one.

Do I have to tell people I am recording?

Follow the law where you and the participants are, and your company’s policy. In many places everyone on a call must be told it is being recorded.

How do I get access?

Start the 30-day free trial below: enter your name and email and the installer downloads right away. Your licence is built into it, so the app activates by itself, and the 30 days start when you first open it. Paid plans are available by request while online checkout is being prepared.

What happens when the trial ends?

Recording and processing new meetings pause until you choose Standard or Pro. Every meeting already on your Mac stays yours: you can open, play, export and delete it at any time.

How much does Pure Brief AI cost?

The free trial lasts 30 days. Standard is $49 as a one-time purchase. Pro, a $10/month subscription, is coming soon. You can leave a request for your chosen plan on this page.
